Wrong...

We hadn't seen it coming... Depeche Mode has been letting us wanting for more these past years. Exciter was pure genius, of course, but it felt like they had lost their magic since this brilliant 2001 opus. Now they're back with Sound of the Universe, and man, these guys know how to turn their fans on !

The first single, Wrong, is just the most mesmerizing and exciting thing I've heard for months. The instrumental base in insistent, confusing sometimes, and it really gets under your skin. Dave Grahan shows once again that he represents the soul and the core of the band. His voice gets you some place else, it makes you travel into the depths of a tortured mind haunted by the thrill of murder.

Their upcoming gig in the Stade de France in Paris promises to be one hell of a show, so get you tickets as quickly as you can, it will soon be very, very, very crowded.

One last word about the video, directed by Julian Gross : it is the must-see of the season. That's really incredible how a guy in a car going backwards can make you freak out !
